- **Event Description**: Journey the seasons in circle - eight gatherings held in Brisbane aligned with the Wheel of the Year to nourish, connect, and remember.About this EventWhat is the Wheel of the Year? The Wheel of the Year is an ancient, earth-based framework that honours the cyclical rhythms of nature. Originating from Celtic traditions, it marks eight key seasonal gateways across the year: the solstices, equinoxes, and the midpoints between them. Each point on the Wheel invites us into a different quality of energy - growth, rest, release, celebration, reflection, and renewal. Rather than pushing forward constantly, the Wheel reminds us that life unfolds in seasons, and that each phase holds its own wisdom. As women, our bodies and inner worlds are deeply attuned to cycles. The Wheel of the Year offers a gentle invitation to reconnect with this natural rhythm - both within ourselves and in relationship with Mother Earth. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events10/banners/536060d0-f015-11f0-8c1b-f9fe3f809c3e-rimg-w493-h740-dcedebec-gmir.jpg What are Women's Circles?Women have been gathering in circles since the beginning of time, to share stories, gather knowledge, recharge and support one another.Circles offer an intentional space for women to celebrate sacred rites-of-passage, to share in collective wisdom, and to be seen, heard, and supported in a respectful and nurturing space.Circles are not about fixing, performing, or achieving. They are a space to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect - with yourself, with others, and with something greater than the everyday rush.In circle, women gather to reflect, share (if they wish), participate in gentle ritual or guided journeys, and connect through creativity and presence. Each woman is welcomed exactly as she is, with sharing always an invitation rather than an expectation. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events9/banners/53b0f1d0-f015-11f0-8091-69c6fa2035f7-rimg-w1110-h740-dcecebec-gmir.jpg How do I know if Women’s Circles are my thing?Women’s circles may be a good fit for you if:You feel a longing for deeper connection and meaningful conversationYou are craving slowness, rhythm, and space to breatheYou value presence and emotional honesty over productivityYou feel drawn to seasonal living, reflection, or earth-based practicesYou are open to being part of a consistent group over timeYou do not need prior experience in circle, meditation, or ritual—curiosity and openness are enough.PLEASE NOTE: This specific offering may not be the right fit for you if:You are looking for a drop-in or purely social gatheringYou prefer fast-paced, outcome-driven workshopsYou feel uncomfortable in group spaces of any kindYou are unable to commit to attending most of the eight gatheringsThis offering is intentionally slow, relational, and depth-focused. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events3/banners/53d9af80-f015-11f0-b7d6-efc4749698ef-rimg-w493-h740-dcbcaea4-gmir.jpg What can I expect when I attend a 'Wheel of the Year' Women's Circle? This offering is a closed container series of eight women’s circles, aligned with the seasonal celebrations of the Wheel of the Year.A closed container means the women who join at the beginning will journey together throughout the year, with no new participants joining partway through. This allows trust to deepen, relationships to form naturally, and the group to be held in a safe and intimate way. Each gathering will reflect the energy of the current season and may include:Grounding and arrival practicesGuided meditation or medicine drum journeyingSeasonal ritual and reflectionCreative expression or altar-makingOptional sharing and deep listeningA nourishing shared meal to closeThese circles are an invitation to step out of linear time and into rhythm - to be held by the turning of the seasons and supported within a steady, committed group of women. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events5/banners/53fd3d10-f015-11f0-b7d6-efc4749698ef-rimg-w493-h740-dc1b1a1b-gmir.jpg We will spend roughly 3.5 hours together in circle. Each circle will be held in my home space in Grange, North Brisbane. The energetic exchange for all eight circles is $555 and payment plans are available upon request (please email me to arrange). If you feel a quiet yes, a soft curiosity, or a longing to live more in rhythm with the seasons, you are warmly invited to join us.Spaces in this circle are intentionally limited to a maximum of 12 keep the container intimate, and places are offered on a first-come basis. If this journey feels aligned, I invite you to secure your place and commit to walking the Wheel of the Year alongside a small group of women - held, nourished, and supported through the turning of the seasons. If you're keen to find out more or connect with me you can check out my website www.roxannemay.com.au or find me on instagram @the_roxanne_mayI can't wait to see you in circle, sister!Rox xAgendaLammas (Lughnasadh) – First HarvestInfo: Sunday February 1st: Honouring gratitude, nourishment, and gathering what has grown over summer.Mabon (Autumn Equinox) - Sacred BalanceInfo: Sunday March 22nd: A time of balance, reflection, and gentle turning inward.Samhain – Descent & Ancestral RememberingInfo: Sunday May 3rd: Honouring release, endings, and the thinning of the veil.Yule (Winter Solstice) - Deep RestInfo: Sunday June 21st: A circle of stillness, restoration, and tending the inner flame.Imbolc – Seeds of RenewalInfo: Sunday August 9th: A time of stirring, intention-setting, and quiet emergence.Ostara (Spring Equinox) - Awakening BalanceInfo: Sunday September 20th: Honouring renewal, balance, and the return of growth.Beltane – Fire & FertilityInfo: Sunday November 8th: A celebration of vitality, creativity, and life-force energy.Litha (Summer Solstice) - Full LightInfo: Sunday December 20th: Honouring abundance, visibility, and the height of the sun.

"description": "Hi, I’m Roxanne May but you can call me Rox.I’ve been in service to women for over a decade, working as a midwife, a doula, and sacred ceremony facilitator. I’ve held space for women from preconception to postpartum and beyond, supporting birth in all the wild and wonderful ways that it can unfold. This experience has deepened my love and respect for the ancient wisdom of women’s bodies and the womb; the doorway between worlds – where all life originates.Over the years I have learnt that I truly come alive when I work with women in a real, raw, and soulfully nurturing way. I believe in the power of deep inner work – unearthing the wisdom within and growing through the ever-changing seasons of womanhood with strength, power and grace. Whether it’s through transformative women’s circles or devotional solo and sister circle ceremonies, I am here to support you in embracing every facet of what it means to be a woman. Each offering that I create is infused with reverence for the cycles of womanhood. My intention is to provide a sanctuary where you feel held, seen and honoured. This work is more than just supporting the physical – it’s about nurturing the soul and empowering you to step fully into the sacred power of the divine feminine."
